Principal Product Designer Position

Duties and Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for setting the overall design direction and strategy for a project or company
• You will identify and propose product requirements in collaboration with all stakeholders
• You will establish design principles to ensure a cohesive, accessible, and on-brand user-experience across an entire product or ecosystem
• You will lead the design, copywriting, animation, and prototyping/front-end development, in addition to the competitive analysis, user research, and user testing processes
• You will produce high-quality, organized, efficient, production-ready files, assets, and specifications by yourself and as part of a team
• You will support RIIS Inc. internal projects with design, branding, and marketing
• You will support the establishment of the RIIS Inc. Windsor office

Requirements

• You have a BFA in Design and 10+ years of professional design experience
• You have a strong portfolio of client work
• You have a strong sense of style and bring creativity to all projects
• You excel at managing a team of product designers and developers
• You excel at creating and supporting design systems
• You excel at typography
• You excel at prioritizing Accessibility
• You excel as a consultant
• You are a certified Framer Master
• You are a Figma expert
• You are a drone Industry subject matter expert
