Principal Product Designer Position
Duties and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for setting the overall design direction and strategy for a project or company
- You will identify and propose product requirements in collaboration with all stakeholders
- You will establish design principles to ensure a cohesive, accessible, and on-brand user-experience across an entire product or ecosystem
- You will lead the design, copywriting, animation, and prototyping/front-end development, in addition to the competitive analysis, user research, and user testing processes
- You will produce high-quality, organized, efficient, production-ready files, assets, and specifications by yourself and as part of a team
- You will support RIIS Inc. internal projects with design, branding, and marketing
- You will support the establishment of the RIIS Inc. Windsor office
Requirements
- You have a BFA in Design and 10+ years of professional design experience
- You have a strong portfolio of client work
- You have a strong sense of style and bring creativity to all projects
- You excel at managing a team of product designers and developers
- You excel at creating and supporting design systems
- You excel at typography
- You excel at prioritizing Accessibility
- You excel as a consultant
- You are a certified Framer Master
- You are a Figma expert
- You are a drone Industry subject matter expert
